well,
it's been a long time that i've not posting anything here
one reason is: busy
another one: lazy...
oops
let's get to the point
the story happened yesterday
my friend, went for spm english oral test
as we are chinese independent school students
and we are registered as private candidates
so she had to go to SMK Anderson Ipoh to take the test
she got the title "POLLUTION"
and she was quite relieved
as we did a presentation about this in class recently
and she still have some impression in her head
when it's her turn
she walked in
greeted the teachers
and began her speaking
she started with introducing the kinds of pollution
Friend : blah blah blah..............air, water, noise, ....., and LIGHT pollution.
(until the particular point "LIGHT pollution")
and the examiner stopped her and asked if there's a kind of pollution called LIGHT polution
my friend said yes and explained that it's according to our findings through the internet
especially WIKIPEDIA(which is a more reliable source of info)
and some science magazines
however both teachers kept denying and chose to disbelieve her
at the end of the session they said that they will check it out later
my friend said
"the examiners seemed unsatisfied with my performance"
(judged through their facial expressions)
when she told me this
i could see disappointment and worries in her face
this had caused her to be a little unconfident
okay
this is not a critic about a particular person(teacher) or school
it's just my feelings about the situation
it's pretty fair and normal for O Level(although SPM is not as hard, but still considered as this level)
oral exams to have such type of question
but please be sure that teachers are experienced enough
and of course
with better attitude
before they are appointed to be examiners
as it is very important to give candidates fair marks
well actually
what i'm angry about is not the teacher isn't acquainted with specific knowledge
(where english teachers are not specialized in teaching science but language)
but
i'm not happy with their attitude for denying my friend's explanation
without letting her finish
well
maybe my friend's speaking is not that fluent
or might have mistakes(whether grammatical or vocabulary)
but
her points are correct and scientific
hence
the examiners should be more open-minded
and shouldn't be prejudiced to students whose english aren't that good
it doesn't mean students with weak english can't learn science well
and student whose language proficiency is strong isn't good in everything
i hope that this post won't cause any anger or hatred in anyone's heart
and i do hope if students meet this situation
do voice it out to let teachers know
and teachers should respect students' voices
no one is perfect
if we help each others to improve,
all of us will be benefited

random thinking...
yeap...
time passes fast
REALLY fast...
CNY had already passed
now's 2nd week of february
that means
it's getting closer to monthly test
and most importantly
i've only 36 weeks left to UEC
so
life goes on
schoolwork, tuition, work, social activities, etceteras...
i'm not sure that whether i've done the right thing
such as....
keep letting myself down
due to some reasons
i can't find back my passion in the first place
a lot of things
seemed so complicated
and exasperating
especially
when
i'm in this situation
i can't deny
everyone would sure meet some special kind of people in their lives
that i'm not the only one who is in despair
i wish that i can ignore, or just lose sight of them
but you know
i can't
or else i'm not going to write stuffs here
i can't believe there are such stubborn people
but everyone has their own opinion
i'm not able to force mine into their minds
but still
when you see them getting into a dilemma
and you can't help them
or even approach them
they reject help
they don't accept or share views and discussions
they criticize(or scold) you back
and ask you to mind your own business
and tell everyone else that you are a liar, a hypocrite
your feeling will be confused
and be very unhappy that you are not able to help them
HEY!!!
I'M CURIOUS:
What's so wrong if i just want to help?
or you think i'm trying to frame you up?
what's the point?
do i get any benefit from it?
honestly
i'll only say and advise people whom i care
or else i'll save my time and do my own stuffs

Senior UEC Year...A Turning Point!!!
what?
in the morning of the 2nd school day of 2012
our academic department head announced that we,
senior year 3 students
should think of subjects we wanna take in the UEC
and of course get ready to fill in the form and hand in the fees
but...
honestly
this is way too fast than we expected
we were just back from holidays...=(
once we stepped into our classroon
our form teacher distributed the form
it's a computer generated form
OMG...
the columns...
especially the address
i have to blacken the letters....
one by one...
oh my eyes...
why my address is soooo long.....>.<'''
subject column:
chinese, english, BM, computer theory,
adv. maths (I), adv. maths (II),
physics, chemistry, biology,
hmm...
how about one more extra?
DEFINITELY NOT ARTS!!!!!
which i got B in junior UEC
history?
no...
i forgot most of the 'stories' i'd studied in junior years
which means
the BEST choice would be
GEOGRAPHY
but...
do i have the faith to finish up all pages by my own effort?
do i have enough time to do it?
can i do it?
do i?
for this
i tossed and turned for one whole night...
asked for some advice from the seniors
june anne said better not
cuz it's sure not enough time
en haw said
if i didn't forget what i've learnt in the past
give it a try
as he got an A2 with just a little preparation...
answering most questions with common sense and knowledge
some students from Chung Hua KL and Foon Yew also take extra subjects
okay...
final conclusion?
YES!!!
i'm going for it!!!
work harder!!!
i deserve an extra A!!!
yeay...=)
